Sheikh Khalifa Fujairah Hospital (SKHF) was established under the patronage of H.H. The Presidential Initiatives. One of the prime aims of this initiative is to build a robust healthcare infrastructure in the UAE and create a global-standard healthcare environment. As part of a broader medical project, SKHF serves as a medical hub for the Northern Emirates, reducing the need for patients to travel to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or foreign countries for quality medical care.

The hospital operates 24/7 for inpatient and emergency services. Outpatient services are available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, five days a week. The Accident and Emergency Department has a capacity of 30 beds, expandable to 60 beds. The outpatient department features 55 clinics to meet diverse healthcare needs. The Rehabilitation department is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including speech therapy, audiometry, a hydrotherapy pool, 2 hyperbaric chambers, and prosthetics support.
The inpatient wards accommodate 267 beds, with the potential to expand to over 534 beds. The Burns Unit has 10 patient rooms, 5 Burns ICU beds, and a dedicated Burns OR. The VIP ward includes 4 presidential suites and 8 VIP rooms, with medical and surgical wards accommodating 88 patient beds. Additional wards include 15 ICU beds and 10 Cardiac ICU beds.
