As a rheumatologist with a particular interest in lupus, my practice encompasses the full spectrum of rheumatologic conditions, reflecting a deep commitment to understanding and treating the complexities of autoimmune diseases. My journey in this field began with comprehensive training at the University of Toronto and its distinguished Lupus Clinic, where I gained specialized knowledge and skills. My clinical and research efforts address various rheumatologic disorders, with particular interest in lupus, involving research on workplace challenges and epidemiological aspects of lupus. For the past 14 years, I have been an active academic at the United Arab Emirates University and the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, where I blend clinical practice and research with education, aiming to improve patient care and outcomes in rheumatology.
