Inpatient and Outpatient Information

SKHF has been designed for disaster management. Originally designed as a 267-bed hospital, it can be converted into 534 beds during disaster situations. We have:

• 120 beds for Medical & Surgical treatment
• 43 beds in the Maternity Department
• 15 beds in the Burns Unit
• 55 ICU beds
• 33 Emergency & Trauma beds (with an additional 15-bed capacity in the waiting area)
• 44 Pre & Post-Operative beds
• 22 Nursery beds

SKHF has a separate Outpatient wing with:

• 56 Physician rooms for different specialties
• 10 Procedure/treatment rooms
• A dedicated sample collection area

In the same wing, we have the Rehabilitation department, fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Supporting the rehab department, we offer speech therapy, audiometry, a hydrotherapy pool, hyperbaric chambers, and prosthetics.
SKHF has state-of-the-art Diagnostic Services. The laboratory division includes Biochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, and Histopathology. SKHF also has a fully functional Blood Bank. Our imaging department is equipped with:

• 1 MRI (1.5 Tesla)
• 2 CT scanners (128-slice imaging)
• 1 Mammography unit
• 1 Dexa Scan
• 5 Ultrasound units
• 2 Fluoroscopy units
• 1 X-ray room
• A separate cath lab for vascular procedures
