The Critical Care Department at Sheikh Khalifa Hospital Fujairah (SKHF) is a state-of-the-art facility that provides exceptional care for patients with life-threatening conditions. Our 55-bed unit is equipped with cutting-edge technology and staffed by a team of highly skilled medical professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care with Consultant coverage 24/7. We are dedicated to delivering comprehensive, multidisciplinary care that addresses the complex needs of critically ill patients, fostering recovery and optimizing outcomes.

Our department is divided into specialized units to address the diverse needs of critically ill patients:

1. Coronary Care Unit (CCU) – 10 beds: Specializing in acute cardiac conditions such as heart attacks, unstable angina, and severe heart rhythm disturbances.
2. Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 15 beds: Providing complete care for critically ill adult patients with a wide range of life-threatening conditions, including severe respiratory failures, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.
3. Burn Intensive Care Unit – 10 beds: Delivering comprehensive care for patients with severe burn injuries, including advanced wound management and rehabilitation support.
